# Event & Funnel Definition

{% hint style="warning" %}
You are viewing documentation for the Legacy Funnels Dashboard. If you're using the new UI go to: [Understanding Your Funnels Dashboard](/360pilot/funnels-dashboard/understanding-your-funnels-dashboard.md).
{% endhint %}

#### Fixed Funnel Events

In Marketing Messages (MM), unlike Ads that Click to WhatsApp (CTWA), the funnel uses **four fixed events**:

* **Sent to Meta** — Total quantity of the sendout requested from 360Pilot to Meta.
* **Sent to Lead** — Messages that were actually **sent** to the end user (after channel checks, opt‑out, etc.).
* **Delivered** — Messages that were **delivered** to the recipient’s device.
* **Read** — Messages that were **read** (based on WhatsApp read receipts).

> These four events are system‑defined and appear in all MM funnels.

#### Creating Event Definitions (Templates to Track)

Use the **“+” (Add)** button in **Event definition** to register the **Marketing Message templates** you want to track. Once added, each template:

* Appears in the **Campaign Details table**.
* Is included in aggregate metrics, charts, and CPA calculations.

**Tip**: Name templates clearly (e.g., `Wk48_Leaflet_EN_v3`). Avoid reusing names across different sendouts.

#### Date Range Selector

Use the date range control at the top of the dashboard to change the analysis window. The selection applies across panels (overview, charts, and table).
