This guide describes how to a WABA out of the "Review in Progress" status and get WABA "Approved".

Troubleshooting
If a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) remains in a “Review in Progress” status for an extended period, check the following:
Check Meta Business Verification
If the Business has not already completed Meta Business Verification, proceed with the verification process.
Website Check
Regarding the website listed in the Business Info, ensure that:
The listed website is live and functioning correctly
The website has a valid SSL certificate
The website is publicly accessible and not restricted by a firewall, IP allowlist, or authentication requirement
The website clearly describes the Business and its services

Why can a WABA get stuck in “Review in Progress”?
Meta does not disclose the exact reasons. In many cases, the review may be delayed because Meta’s automated systems were unable to complete the checks successfully, resulting in the account being flagged for manual review.
Manual reviews are completed by Meta and can take significantly longer.
The main preventative measure is that Businesses should ensure that:
All business information is fully completed
The website is live and matches the business details
All WhatsApp Business Profile fields are filled in

If my WABA is not approved after 7 days, what should I do?
If all checks have been completed and the WABA is not approved in a reasonable amount of time, should contact our support team.
Does each new WABA need to be approved by Meta?
Yes. Every WABA must have the 'Approved' status before messages can be sent using that WABA. However, if 1 WABA for the Business is approved, the approval for subsequent WABAs should be much faster and usually instant.
