Cancel or Delete a Number
Learn how to cancel your subscription or delete a number from your WhatsApp Business Account, and what to expect from each option.
Overview
There are two different processes available:
Cancel Subscription: stops the subscription for a number in 360dialog Hub. Cancel or Delete a Number
Delete Number: removes a phone number from the WhatsApp Business Platform, making it available again for the WhatsApp App or WhatsApp Business App. Even after deleting a number, you still need to Cancel a Subscription. Cancel or Delete a Number
Only clients (not integration partners) can request cancellation or deletion of numbers.
How to Cancel a Subscription (360Dialog Hub)
Login to the 360dialog Hub.
Use the link: https://app.360dialog.io/number
Click on Manage WhatsApp Business Account.

Scroll to the Danger Zone and click Cancel Subscription.

Confirm the phone number and type CANCEL to proceed.

Click Cancel subscription to complete.
You may be asked to leave us an optional feedback.

The system will display a confirmation pop-up and a channel inactive warning in your Hub page.

Restrictions:
Only a business admin can cancel a channel.
A channel cannot be deleted if paid messages were sent in the past 30 days. In that case, you will be redirected to check the last paid message date. Cancellation will only be possible 30 days later.
How to Delete a Number (Meta Business Manager)
To delete a number from a WABA:
In Business Manager, go to Business Settings > WhatsApp Accounts > WhatsApp Manager > Phone Numbers.

Find the number you want to delete and click the trash icon.

Confirm the phone to be deleted and press Next.

Enter your pasword and select the reason for deletion.

Press delete to finish the process.
Once deleted, the number can be:
Registered again in the WhatsApp Business Platform, or
Used in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business App.
