Linking a WABA to a Facebook page
Businesses need to connect their Facebook page to their WhatsApp Business API accounts to use it in Facebook resources such as a button on the page or Click to WhatsApp ads.
If the WABA is registered in the same Business Manager as the Facebook page or Ads account, there is no need for the connection. The number will appear as an option automatically.
To do this, the user must be an admin, editor, moderator or advertiser in the Facebook Page / Business Manager.
Link from Page Settings
As of right now, it is not possible to link a WABA to a Facebook page from the Page Settings. The pop-up does not trigger a message to the WhatsApp Business API account, only to Business App accounts.
Link from Action Button
In the Facebook Page, go to the three dots on the right, below Edit. Select Add Action Button.

In the options, choose Send WhatsApp Message and enter the WhatsApp Business API phone number
After selecting the number, you will receive a verification code as a new WhatsApp conversation.
If the Facebook Page is under the same Meta Business Manager as the WABA, that's it!
If the Facebook Page is under a different Meta Business Manager, 360dialog must approve the request. Please reach out to us via Support Ticket and we will approve the request.
