Disable 2FA
This document outlines the steps to disable two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as two-step verification, for a phone number.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled by default on all registered phone numbers to provide an additional layer of security. It is managed directly through Meta Business Manager > WhatsApp Manager within the phone number settings. Please note that we do not provide access to 2FA settings via 360dialog APIs.
Permission
2FA can only be disabled by an Administrator of the Meta Business Portfolio, a User assigned access to the WhatsApp Account (asset) or an authorised Tech Provider.
360dialog, as a Business Solution Provider (BSP), cannot disable 2FA at the request of unauthorised users.
How to disable 2FA
Go to Meta Business Manager > WhatsApp Manager> Phone Numbers > Settings

Select Two-Step Verification, then click on Turn off two-step verification

An email with a link will be sent to the email address associated with the business portfolio.

Use the link to disable two-step verification.
