What is Partner-Led Business Verification (PLBV) Beta?

Partner-Led Business Verification (PLBV) is a feature that allows Solution Partners to upload business verification documents for their clients during the Embedded Signup (ES) process.

This helps speed up verification and makes the onboarding process easier — especially for new users who are just starting on WhatsApp Business.

Who can use it?

You can use PLBV during the signup process if:

  • You are an Admin of the client’s Business Portfolio.

  • You are creating a new WhatsApp Business Account.

  • The client’s business is not verified yet.

PLBV is automatically available to all new users going through Embedded Signup.

How does it work?

  1. Start Embedded Signup normally.

  2. After phone number (OTP) verification, you’ll see an option to upload business documents.

  3. You can upload the documents directly on the screen, or via API if preferred.

  4. Meta will check the documents and respond in 5 minutes to 24 hours.

What will you see on the screen?

After verifying the phone number, a screen will appear showing the option to upload documents. It looks like this:
