To maintain uninterrupted message delivery on the WhatsApp Business Platform, each registered phone number must maintain a positive 360Dialog credit balance.

The credit balance functions as a prepaid wallet used to pay for WhatsApp messaging usage. Messaging costs are deducted directly from the balance as messages are delivered.

If the balance reaches zero, outbound messaging is paused until additional funds are added.

System Behavior

Positive Balance

Messaging continues normally with costs deducted in real time

Zero Balance

Outbound messaging stops until a payment is processed

Negative Balance

The system may trigger an automatic top-up to prevent account suspension

Auto-Renewal

Auto-Renewal is a 24/7 monitoring feature designed to prevent service suspensions by automatically adding funds before the balance is exhausted.

When enabled:

  • The system continuously monitors the credit balance

  • Once the threshold is reached, the configured top-up amount is charged to the payment method saved to the 360Dialog Hub

  • Funds are added to the balance immediately

This helps prevent service interruptions caused by insufficient balance.

Description

Threshold

The "low-balance" trigger point that initiates a top-up.

Top-Up Amount

The specific sum charged to the saved payment method.

Emergency Top-Up

If the balance drops below zero, the system may trigger a top-up based on the last saved settings to restore service immediately.

Add Funds Manually

Top up the balance manually at any time:

Enter the funding amount

Confirm payment method and checkout.

Funds will be added to the balance immediately upon successful payment.

Request a Balance Refund

Balance Refunds can be initiated at any time:

Select the phone number to refund funds from

Select Refund Account Funds

Confirm the refund request
