Standard Business Verification

Standard Business Verification is Meta’s official process to verify your Business Manager across all Meta assets.

Preparing for Business Verification

To improve your chances of being verified by Meta, make sure that:

  • Your company website is active, secured with SSL, and lists the same name, address, and phone number as in Business Manager.

  • Your business email uses the same domain as your website (e.g., [email protected]).

  • If verifying by phone number, ensure the number can receive calls or SMS (disable IVR temporarily if needed).

  • Your legal/trade name in the documentation matches the one on your website and Facebook Page. If different, clearly show the relationship (e.g., footer note: “Company ABC powered by Company D”).

Steps

1

Access the Security Center

Go to Business Manager → Security Center → Start Verification.

2

Select your business asset

If your business is listed:

  • Confirm your business details.

  • Select a phone number you can access and click Next.

  • Double-check for typos: once submitted, details cannot be edited.

3

Get a verification code

  • Choose how to receive the code: text message, phone call, or email.

  • The phone option may not be available in all countries.

  • The email must use the same domain as your website.

4

Domain verification (alternative option)

  • If your domain is already verified, select Use Domain Verification.

  • If not, complete the domain verification process, then return and continue.

5

Enter verification code

  • Enter the code received and click Submit.

  • If you use domain verification, you can skip this step.

6

Upload proof of legal business name

  • Provide an official document that matches the legal name in step 1.

    • Examples: business license, articles of incorporation, tax registration.

  • Check the official list of accepted documents before submitting.

7

Upload proof of business address or phone number

  • Provide a document showing both your legal name and address/phone.

  • Examples: utility bill, bank statement.

8

Wait for Meta’s review

  • Meta reviews submissions within up to 14 business days.

  • You can track progress in Business Manager → Security Center or, if you’re a 360dialog client, in the 360dialog Client Hub.

9

Receive verification status

  • You’ll be notified by Meta once your business is verified.

  • Verified status will also appear in your Business Manager account.

It is mandatory that the Business Manager is owned by the Business who is sending messages. Adding users who do not belong to this company can cause your Business Manager to be blocked.
