This documentation aims to guide partners on how to onboard clients in the Beta version of Meta’s MM Lite API.

Onboarding process

Before following this process, please, make sure your Partner ID is permitted for the Beta program by submitting your participation to betas@360dialog.com.

  1. Clients can use the Alpha-Beta-Onboarding service to onboard the business into MM lite API, using the links provided by the project's team.

  2. After a successful login, select the option "Ad a new number".

  3. Select the following options:

    1. "Alpha callback"

    2. "Yes, this number is connected to WhatsApp Business API"

    3. "Yes, planning to send marketing messages from this number"

  4. Start the Embedded Signup (ES) process, and select your Business Portfolio to continue.

Here is a video to help you visualize the process (remember, once you click on "Finish" you can close the tab and there is no need to send a new OTP):

Completion

Once the ES process is completed:

  • All eligible WABAs in your account will be onboarded to MM Lite.

  • A read-only ad account will be created for each eligible WABA to show campaign results.

  • The onboarding takes up to 10 minutes after completing the ES process.

  • Any new WABAs added after onboarding will require a new ES process to enable MM Lite.
