Tech Provider Program
The Tech Provider program is still in testing phase with Meta. The first steps of getting access are fully handled by Meta. We will not be able to assist you to become a Tech Provider. See how Meta supports Tech Providers here.
If you are already a Tech Provider, please check the requirements and next steps in this document.
360dialog Partners have access to the Meta Tech Provider Program, and are able to use the features in parallel with all 360dialog products and APIs.
The implementation of this solution managed by Meta can expand the possibilities for Partners, but it requires heavy development investment to be enabled.

FAQ
How can a 360dialog Partner become a Tech Provider?
The Tech Provider onboarding process is managed by Meta.
To get started, Tech Providers will have to:
Have their Business Manager verified
Create app according to specific guidelines (requires development effort)
Get the app approved by Meta (average timeline from 4 to 8 weeks at the moment)
Create a Partner Solution as a Tech Provider and have it approved by 360dialog
Host their own Embedded Signup solution, being responsible for managing and troubleshooting client's experiences (360dialog can only see WABAs after signup is completed, so we can't support clients and partners before that)
After WABAs are created through the Tech Provider's Joint Embedded Signup, it will be available in the Partner Hub and Partner API. The Partner will then be able to choose how to manage this WABA.
What are the steps to become a Tech Provider with Meta?
360dialog has no visibility and is unable to assist on the process of becoming a Tech Provider. You can get more information and support from Meta. Their documentation about it is available below.
Get Started (only steps 1-6 are required / if you want to become a Tech Provider and partner with a Solution Partner)
I'm already a Tech Provider with Meta, how can I join this program?
Tech Provider apps have different permissions. To create a solution with 360dialog, your app needs to have the whatsapp_business_management
permission. Please see detailed information about this in the Meta documentation.
Before the app is approved with the correct permissions, we are not able to assist in any way. You should reach out to Meta for these steps.
If your app is already approved with the correct permissions, you can move to the Creating Partner Solution step.
In addition, you eventually must implement a custom version of Embedded Signup, so make sure you understand how it works and that you are able to implement it.
What is a Tech Provider Partner Solution?
A partner solution is an asset sharing relationship between two business entities, configured, initiated, and accepted in the App Dashboard > WhatsApp > Partner Solutions panel. Each solution can be used to onboard up to 200 end clients in a rolling one week period.
For a Partner to have access to Tech Provider features, a Solution will be created with specific characteristics and shared with 360dialog. Only after this Solution is approved by 360dialog the Partner will be able to create joint WABAs. Read more about this here.
If I have numbers activated with 360dialog Integrated Onboarding, can I move them to a shared WABA where I'm the Tech Provider?
Any changes or migrations would require a new WABA to be created (in this case, through Tech Provider process) and the number to be moved there.
