Migrate all numbers to a new Partner (with 360Dialog)

This document describes how to migrate all numbers to a new integration Partner with 360Dialog. (aka: Partner Change)

Background

For security and billing reasons, A WhatsApp Account (WABA) can only be associated with one integration Partner within the 360Dialog platform at any one time.

You can view your current Partner from your Profile > Partner > Current partner

Limitations

  • You can only migrate all numbers tied to a single account at once.

    • For instance, if you have three numbers on one WhatsApp Business Account, all three will be moved to the new Integration Partner. If you want to migrate just one number and leave the rest with your current partner, please see the next section here.

  • For some legacy clients, the option to change partners may not be available. You might see a grayed-out "Change Partner" button or receive an error message that says, "Destination partner is using a different payment processor." If this occurs, please contact our support team for assistance.

How to Change Partner

Go to Profile > Partner > Change Partner

You might be prompted to complete your company information.

Enter the Partner ID of your Destination Partner

If you do not know the ID of your Destination Partner, please contact them directly to request it, or you can ask the 360Dialog Customer Support team.

Review the list of numbers to be migrated to the new Partner and Click > Continue to next step

Confirm terms > Submit Partner Change Request

Confirm Payment Method

This step does not apply to all partners, as some accounts do not require payment method confirmation.

This step may be required for some partners, depending on their payment method. You may be asked to add a payment method before proceeding.

Partner Approval

Some partners automatically approve all requests, so this step may not be required in all cases.

Your new Partner may need to approve your request in their Partner Hub. Once approved, all numbers will be transferred immediately. No action is required in your Client Hub.

You can view the partner approval status from you account.

Grant Permissions to New Partner

After the Partner Change is complete, you must grant your new partner permission to manage your numbers.

In the 360Dialog Hub, go to Menu > Settings > Partner Settings.

In the Partner Settings section, select the numbers you want the new partner to manage.

Click "Save Changes" to apply the permissions.
